As we head into the festive season most carriers and couriers will experience significant increases in volumes as they transport Santa’s stocking fillers around the country.  This can create capacity issues and it is a good time to remind everyone to get your orders in early to avoid the possibility of transit delays.  We recommend avoiding last minute orders to ensure you are not disappointed.

Order Deadlines

We suggest the following deadlines for the best chance of delivery prior to Christmas:

Auckland Mainfreight:

• South Island:                  Wednesday 16 December                  before 12pm
• North Island:                   Monday 21 December                        before 12pm
• Auckland Metro:             Tuesday 22 December                       before 12pm

 Christchurch Mainfreight:

• South Island:                  Friday 18 December                           before 10am
• Christchurch Metro:      Monday 21 December                         before 2pm

Horticom will continue to process orders received after these dates and endeavour to make deliveries before Christmas where possible.  If we are unable to meet that timeframe, they will be delivered on the next business day following Christmas. Please ensure you let us know at the time of ordering if you have a closing down period or any dates you may not be open to accept delivery.
